Bernard is the Managing Partner of the Law Firm of Oak &Wuuds, one of the leading Commercial Law Firms in Accra, Ghana. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, International Bar Association, and the Inter Pacific Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Private Investigation Association.
Mr. Owusu-Twumasi has done extensive work in the area of corporate banking and finance as well as in the Real Estate Industry in areas of debt recovery and property search and investigations. He has advised Barclays Bank Ghana Limited in respect of Debt Restructuring/Recovery worth over US$100 million, Debt Restructuring/Recovery for the China Export and Credit Insurance (Sinosure) worth over US$100 million (which recovery is ongoing) in West Africa, Assist the Korean Embassy in Ghana in the acquisition of land for its proposed Embassy Housing and other related matters, Advising a Korean-Ghanaian Partnership in real estate development on a transaction worth over US$4 million spanning a ten year period to mention a few.
