Bio & Experience
Kwesi has worked with the law firm Dery & Co. from 2007-2009 where he undertook litigation in areas of property law, banking, finance and other commercial transactions. During the same period he was also worked for Center for Public Interest Law (CEPIL), Ghana on Human Rights &Labour cases as well as mining/natural resources related cases.
In 2009, he became one of the founding attorneys of the law firm Ayine &Felli Law Office, a midsize law firm in Accra Ghana where he undertook both litigation and transactional/corporate law practice in the areas of property law, Oil and Gas, banking, finance and commercial arrangements, Mining, intellectual property, as well as representing client before the various administrative agencies and commissions. Kwesi as a former Snr. Associate at Ayine &Felli undertook extensive corporate work including advising and issuance on legal opinions for companies like Dangote Cement, Ghana, AEE Power EPC company in the Ghana energy sector, Accra Brewery Company Ltd, Voltic Ghana ltd. Kwesi also represented some of the above mentioned companies in litigation in addition to the other companies such as National Petroleum Authority, Airtel Ghana ltd, National Investment Bank, Stanbic Bank Ghana, UBI Energy and Ghana Libya Arab Holding Company.
Kwesi also teaches Natural Resources Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution at the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA) and interpretation at the Ghana School of Law. Before then he had taught Energy & Natural Resources Law and Public International Law at Mountcrest University College, Accra in 2012/2013 academic year. Kwesi is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN) and the Ghana Bar Association.
Kwesi was part of the team that represented the Ghana School of Law in the 2007 Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington DC, United States of America and the 2007 Commonwealth Lawyers Association Moot Court Competition in Nairobi, Kenya.
